Mariah Lamping

Mariah has competed in gymnastics since she was 6 years old. She has been a champion at the state, regional, and national level in regular gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics, and trampoline/tumbling. She competed up to level 9.

Mariah has been coaching gymnastics since the age of 13. She has taught both team and recreational gymnastics and tumbling/trampoline. She has been teaching at Flipz since 2008.

When asked, "What do you enjoy most about coaching gymnastics?", Mariah's response was, "My favorite thing is seeing the excitement in a kid's face when they get a new skill. I also love the relationship you get to form with each one of them."

Mariah is currently a junior at Mizzou (2011). She is majoring in Atmospheric Science.

Mariah has been on the Mizzou Storm Chase team for 3 years. She also competes around the Midweest in barrel racing and rodeo.
