Alice has been taking gymnastics for 13 years, 9 of which have been competitive. She taught pre-school and progressive classes for 4 years at All American Gymnastics in St. Louis, MO before coming to Columbia and accompanying our staff. Alice is currently a student at Missouri University pursuing a degree in Business Management. Alice's goal at Flipz is to teach recreational gymnastics levels the basic skills needed for enhancing strength and coordination for advancement to higher levels. Her favorite memories are the times each student masters a new skill. 

              Melissa has over 11 years of competitive gymnastics experience and 2 years of cheerleading experience. She has been teaching gymnastics for over 5 years at Tiger Academy and at Flipz USA. Melissa is a local native of Columbia, Mo. and graduated from college in 2003 with a degree in "accounting." Melissa's goal at Flipz is to work hard at mastering skills while understanding that having fun while you work is so important. I Love watching the kids grow and develop and love going home at night knowing I made a positive impact in each child's life!

            Trent has 13 years of gymnastics experience. He spent 8 years with the YMCA Boys Team in Jefferson City, MO where he is from. He coached in his hometown for 2 years before coming to Flipz USA where he has been teaching for the last 2 years. He enjoys teaching at our gym because “It has helped with my own gymnastics and working with kids is pretty fun!”

             Allison was a competitive gymnast for 9 years. She participated on her high school gymnastics team in Longmont, Colorado for which she was the team captain in her senior year. She instructed at Airborne Gymnastics  in Longmont before coming to Flipz USA. Allison is a Senior at MU majoring in Journalism and Sociology. Her number one goal at Flipz is to make sure the students appreciate and experience the thrill and joy of gymnastics and to help each individual develop a lifelong love for the sport while developing life skills and pride of accomplishment along the way!

  Jessica is also a Missouri native, hailing from Savannah, Mo. Jessica has been on the gymnastics scene for 13 years, 8 as a competitor, and 5 years experience as a coach. Jessica is currently attending MU with her concentration in "Early Childhood Education" and plans to become a Kindergarten teacher one day! Jessica enjoys instructing her students in a positive and rewarding manner while emphasizing self discipline and hard work, leading to success not only in the gym but in real life situations. 

 Rob is a local native of Columbia, Mo.  He  was an 'Elite" gymnast and has 22 years of experience in the field, competing and coaching for Columbia Gymnastics. Rob attended William Woods university to attain his "Masters in Business Administration." Rob's goal at Flipz is to help his students develop a lifelong love for gymnastics, while gaining strength, flexibility, and discipline in all phases of their lives. Rob's fondest memory is the point at which you finally master that skill or movement that you have been working so hard on!

  Marybeth is from Hillsboro, Mo. She competed as a level 7 gymnast, competing for 11 years at "Live the Dream Gymnastics" and "Olympiad" gymnastics of Festus, Mo. and has 5 years experience as an instructor. Marybeth currently attends Missouri university and majors in Physical Therapy. Her goal at Flipz is to have fun with the students while creating a positive and enjoyable experience and environment for them to enhance their joy and knowledge of the sport. Her fondest memories are fun times and friends made while attending practice and meets!
